Podcasts for Homeschooling: The Wild West of Homeschool Resources
The podcast world, or Internet-based radio episodes found via subscription services like iTunes, is blowing up. When we started our podcast in 2011, we won “Best New Podcast” in part because we didn’t have a lot of competition. There are over ten times as many podcasts now! Around 10,000 podcasts are launched EVERY MONTH. So… how do you find the ones you need?
By listening to people you trust. Here is our list:

And to tie it all together, you may have heard of a free stories podcast for children called Sparkle Stories. ;) We mix in a bit of each of these areas listed above and craft stories for ages 3-10+ that educate and entertain through stories. Whether you’re looking for history, homeschooling, Halloween, or healing, we’ve got a story for you and your family. You can start with our podcast, and if your kids start asking for more, you can stream our library of over 1,000 original audio stories for kids through our free trial or buy individual series and themed story collections through our Sparkle Store.
Thanks for listening!

About the Author
David Sewell McCann
David Sewell McCann fell in love with spinning stories in first grade – the day a storyteller came to his class and captured his mind and imagination. He has been engaged in storytelling all of his adult life through painting, film-making, teaching and performing. Out of his experience as a Waldorf elementary class teacher and parent, he has developed a four step method of intuitive storytelling, which he now shares through workshops and through this website.
