In this final part of the story, Selena, Squeaky, and Uranos join forces to subvert the war, but something unexpected happens that puts Selena and her friends in danger.

Selena's new friend, Squeaky, explains how the family system works for the Titans, using a tree and it's branches as a metaphor.

In which Selena discovers a book written in the 1800's about the fabled “Seven Cities of Gold” and learns that they not only existed in the United States, but all over the world.

Selena meets the person that will change her life more than anyone she has ever met — a person she has never known, but who in a way, she has known forever.

Selena and her family leave Austin, but their plans shift when a fancy van shows up to take them to their new home, and the "Guest House" is not what they were expecting.

Selena writes a letter to Dante in hopes of connecting and finding an opportunity to be honest with each other, and discovers something that surprises her...

Selena is finally able to visit Lance, but when she does he tells her that she has already visited him! What is going on?

The stress and overwhelm builds so much that Selena finally tells her father everything and then feels strangely comforted by his response.

As everything seems to be falling apart, Selena feels lost — but also feels responsible for losing her friends.

When Lance, Manny and Dante learn important information from an oracle at Barton Springs, Selena realizes she's met this man before...

Selena has a tiring day on campus, filled with adventure, revelation, and unfortunately... some bad news.

The spontaneous images Selena sees teach her about her friends and trainers and that “Doing Something Brave” is not at all what she thought it would be.

Selena encounters the wild and free Artemis who encourages her to pay close attention. She does, and what she learns both excites and terrifies her.

Selena connects with her new friends and is able to relax and let others hold the weight of responsibility she has always felt, until she learns one of her friends is going to betray her.

Selena closes out her school year by meeting the docent of the Elisabet Ney museum and realizes the woman is far more powerful and ancient than anyone knew.

On Selena's 12th birthday she's shocked to find that the story her grandfather tells her every year seems to be coming true!
