30 Books to Carry You Away
As summer trips are being changed or canceled, we're finding ourselves a little let down. We're feeling a little shut in. We want fun, summer adventures!
It just might not be in the cards this year and that's okay. We've gathered up our 30 favorite books to transport us to another world (thank you for your help, Facebook Sparklers!). We gathered a good list of children's, young adult, and adult books — these are our top picks because they feature exquisite world-building and wonderful characters. The stories we've featured will pluck you out of today and take you on a wild adventure through a fantastical world or gently move you through beautiful landscapes. They're all a wonderful escape for when you need a break.
We've linked all the books to Bookshop.org, a wonderful online bookstore that supports indie bookstores in return. You can select your local indie bookstore to recieve all of the profit. Click here for more information.
