Martin & Sylvia's Audio Advent Calendar – Day 14: "Downtown"
In this Martin & Sylvia's Audio Advent Calendar story, "Downtown," Martin, Sylvia, Momma and Daddy go downtown to look at the holiday window displays, and are delighted to find something… well, surprising in one of them.
Holiday lights are at the top of everyone's list of things to see at holiday times. Here are a few things you can do to enjoy the light of the season.
Candle Luminaries
Make your home glow with warmth and gentle light by making these beeswax luminaries.
Find the tutorial HERE.
Other things to try:
Make your own luminaries to put outside at night. Simply take a paper bag, and fold down the top edge to the outside so the bag remains open. Fill 1/4 way with sand and place a tea candle inside. Line your walk way or drive way or just your front door step with these beautiful lights.
Take a drive around your neighborhood after dark to look at lights your neighbors have put up.
