Martin Spends a splendid day at the Spunderful shop with mama. Here are some wool and yarn related activities you can do too.

• Find local yarn shop and visit it. Talk to the people who work there. Yarn shop owners are full of wonderful stories and have so much knowledge about wool.

• Buy some some colorful yarn and learn to finger knit. Use our printable tutorial.

• Get some roving and learn to needle felt or wet felt.

• If you have children who already know how to knit, have them made a few things for charity.

• Explore crafting with sheets of felt. You can make just about anything from felt food and animals to a fire place with logs and flame.
