Martin & Sylvia: Saturday's! Printable Project Page: The Meeting Spot
In the Martin & Sylvia: Saturdays! story, “The Meeting Spot”, Sylvia has a playdate with a brand-new friend. She’s nervous at first about what they will do, but soon discovers they both love stuffed animals.
Here is a fun and easy way to organize your stuffed animals. All you need is a length of ribbon (preferably the height of your room), several clothes pins, and a little loop on top to help secure it to your ceiling. First, lay out the ribbon and then adhere the clothes pins either with strong glue, a glue gun or by sliding the ribbon through the little hole in the middle. Then secure the top to the ceiling with a hook and clip all your stuffed animals. Look! Its a stuffed animal tree!
About the Authors
David Sewell McCann
David Sewell McCann fell in love with spinning stories in first grade – the day a storyteller came to his class and captured his mind and imagination. He has been engaged in storytelling all of his adult life through painting, film-making, teaching and performing. Out of his experience as a Waldorf elementary class teacher and parent, he has developed a four step method of intuitive storytelling, which he now shares through workshops and through this website.
