Martin & Sylvia: Saturdays! Printable Project Page: Four-in-One Snow Forts
Martin, Sylvia, Sasha and Jonathan decide to combine their four different snow fort strategies into a single fort in the Martin & Sylvia: Saturdays! story “Four in One Snow Forts”. Not everyone has snow right now, so you can do the same with stick forts! There are so many ways to use sticks to make forts.
Above are three ideas: weaving saplings around trees, using a large branch for a lean-to, and stacking bundles of sticks with rope. You can color these pictures in and then try it yourself!
About the Authors
David Sewell McCann
David Sewell McCann fell in love with spinning stories in first grade – the day a storyteller came to his class and captured his mind and imagination. He has been engaged in storytelling all of his adult life through painting, film-making, teaching and performing. Out of his experience as a Waldorf elementary class teacher and parent, he has developed a four step method of intuitive storytelling, which he now shares through workshops and through this website.
