Friday's Kind Words: Sooooo Happy
I just wanted to tell you how much my daughter, who is five, loves your stories. The other day, when we were listening to the Thanksgiving one, she exclaimed, "That story made me SOOOOOO happy!". I have never heard her say that or seem more pleased and excited by a story - ever!. Mind you, this comes from a girl who weaves stories all her own ALL the time, who reads (or is read) a ton of books, and who frequently listens to stories that we buy or download. In short, she is a story junkie.
But the other - perhaps bigger - reason I write is to thank you for the tone of your stories. My husband and I have often bemoaned the fact that so many kids' stories have some kind of tense "arc" or conflict to them, or element of suspense, or harshness; and so far, every Sparkle story we have listened to fills us UP. Our daughter, is extremely sensitive and attuned to harsh energy, and so we welcome your stories as a true breath of fresh storied air. Thank you SO much for your wonderful stories. You are truly gifted.
