Friday's Kind Words: Another Story Up My Sleeve
We, in this home, love Sparkle Stories. They are so kind, gentle and share such awesome values lessons and life experience lessons.
We are Australians living in Singapore. My husband travels for work. Sparkle stories get me through bath/bed time when I’m on my own. They love to listen and it gives me another story up my sleeve when I have run out of energy to read out loud.
Recently though Sparkle Stories really came to the fore when we spent 16 days traveling around Iceland in a campervan. Every day had some sparkle story time in it. Mostly while they were strapped into car seats admiring the passing scenery (of course I forgot to take a photos of that and the photo is lying in the back of the van). The sparkle stories were just perfect as the type of story and time of the story varied depending on the feeling at the time.
