Friday's Kind Words: Safety and Calm
I also want to thank you so much for making these stories. My eldest son, now age nine, has always been a sensitive child and he went through some health issues. Whenever he had a bad dream and I couldn’t help him any other way, the Junkyard Tales stories were always a comfort and brought him to a feeling of safety and calm. Your stories were also a gateway into my son’s love and obsession with podcasts and audiobooks. This is especially important because it turns out he has dyslexia, so this helped provide healthy entertainment and build his vocabulary and language skills, and knowledge in general, while his reading catches up. Now that my youngest is almost five, I really want to get him interested (hopefully) in Junkyard Tales.
