Friday's Kind Words: Story Night
What a wonderful treasure you have all given us by offering your weekly stories that provide us opportunity to create a wonderful family tradition of 'story night'. An event that the whole family looks forward to each week - snuggling down under cosy doona's early on a Saturday evening as the dark of Winter engulfs the night outside and listening to the tales of the week from Martin and Sylvia.
Then in the more expansive Seasons, it's a wonderful calming ritual to sit and listen in the still of our resting times to the exciting warm weather adventures that our dear friends have been enjoying.
Being a Waldorf inspired family, there's not too many modern day children's audio opportunities that present stories with themes and messages inline with our values. Sparkle Stories really understands how to create, tell and deliver stories that nourish imagination and wonder. The inspiration that Martin and Sylvia have brought into our home since we became friends with the family has been magical to watch unfold. The extra offerings shared by the family of; recipes from the stories, pictures of the farm Martin and Sylvia visit and activities just like Martin and Sylvia do in their homeschooling is such a wonderful resource.
The generosity of the Sparkle Family is something unique as well - they offer very special, occasional free stories on top of all the other wonderful gifts they share through their blog - gifts from their hearts to ours as the Seasons, Festivals and World Events unfold through the year. It seems the Sparkle Family is always thinking of ways they can help to create magic, wonder and nourishment for our children in the world of today. These sprinklings of extra special sparkles throughout the year are very generous indeed.
