Friday's Kind Words: A Magical Effect
We are relatively new to Sparkle Stories, only having discovered them a few months before you released your app, but we have become heavy users of all things Sparkle Stories. Our morning commute to school is around 30-45 minutes and the same in the afternoon and so we sometimes listen to as many as 4 stories in a day. My 4 year old son LOVES Sparkle Stories.
He told me recently he likes Martin and Sylvia stories because he likes when they "work through their feelings". We've just gotten back from a trip to Cuba (we're Canadian) where we have some family and I saved a bunch of stories including the series where Martin and Sylvia take a plane ride to California. It gave us a nice feeling of normalcy to be able to listen to the stories while we were far away from home and the subject matter was very apt.
Just yesterday in the line for customs, coming home, I noticed the grim looks on everyone's faces and reminded Ben about Sylvia sharing her smile with the passengers on the train. I know he lightened a few people's day with the smile he then shared with the people we walked past in the very long, twisting line.
I could go on and on. Suffice it to say your stories hold a special place in our lives and have had a magical effect on all of us.
