Friday's Kind Words: Mirrored in a Story
We love Martin and Sylvia! Both my children love to listen to the stories about them. As a home educating family, it is lovely to have that life mirrored in a story. My daughter finds the stories very calming and soothing and often amusing! And I particularly enjoy the parenting style that 'Momma' and 'Daddy use. It is so rare to have content that is fascinating, beautiful and also setting a wonderful example to kids and parents about how to be in the world - dealing with all emotions in generous and understanding ways. My children don't worry that there will be nasty parts of the story as they know that even if there are difficulties for a particular character, it will be worked through in a kind way.
