Friday's Kind Words: A Treasure in This House
My girls are both strong girls, and my oldest this year has really become a die-hard fan of the By Thistle, By Thimble and So Many Fairies series. She still loves Martin and Sylvia, but she is branching out. Sister's Sword is her absolute favorite story, perhaps in our entire Sparkle Stories library. She listens to it over and over. She has created a sword out of cardboard, carefully painted silver with delicate green vein details, and has sewn a scabbard of felt and a belt and she runs around reenacting the story all the time.
Your stories are a treasure in this house, my children ask for them all the time, while making, drawing, painting, baking, falling asleep and getting up for the day. And the girls just wait for their baby brother to fall asleep on road trips so they can have a listen in the car. (He is more fond of music). The magic in these stories, the energy, is so wonderful. I cannot thank you enough for your work and for putting these stories out into the world for us!
Warmly,
Valerie
