Friday's Kind Words: Road Trip Life Saver
We have been avid fans for the last three years since my son was 2 years old. We would play it for him during his quiet time and he would be as quiet as he could be, which is rare.
He has since graduated from Martin & Sylvia and Willowbee Tree stories and his all time favorite now is Junkyard Tales. He won't listen to anything else. We do three to four stories every day for quiet time and absolutely loves it.
Kyan will be 5 years old in November. Somedays, he will randomly tell me things he remember from Junkyard tales and say "Ben Thompson the clever cat" and "Zippy the fun loving skunk" and also Lil Mama is always busy. Just two days ago, he started saying Bonsoir Monsieur Sargeant to himself and asked me what Bonsoir and Monsieur meant. Needless to say, I am just so impressed with the gentle and positive influence your stories have on our son as I watch him soak in your magical world. My husband and I love the Willowbee Tree stories by the way. Especially when there's an animal with an interesting accent. We listen to your stories during all of our road trips it's an absolute lifesaver.
Thank you again for all the wonderful and magical stories you tell and continuing to inspire me and my family. We have a baby coming in December and I cannot wait to share your stories with him too.
