Sparkle Weekly Wonderings: February Stories
I love February. My birthday is this month, falling immediately before Valentine’s Day, and because of that I enjoy myself now more than almost any other time of year. There’s something about those two in proximity that invites me to love myself a little more sweetly, which means I can’t wait to share the love with everyone around me.
Including you!
This month is story-rich, with FIVE new stories that weave themes of love and connection together into some true sweetness.
And today, I’m giddy to announce: the first two Libby & Dish stories are out!
This new series has quickly become a staff favorite. As you have read in earlier descriptions, Libby is a shy five-year-old girl who lives in the big city. Some of you will recognize this shyness, seeing yourselves or your children in her sensitivity and tendency to get overwhelmed and overstimulated. Lucky for Libby, she has Dish — her well-fed, gray apartment-cat who not only knows Libby well, but who also has knack for coming up with practical and imaginative ways for Libby to navigate this busy world.
We hope that these introductory stories can serve as an early Valentine to you, offering tenderness, connection, and wishes for an affectionate year ahead!
