Meet the Willowbees
Backstory: The Willowbee family once lived in a nice apartment in the big city, a lovely area with a nearby park, a beloved school, and a network of dear friends and teachers. From this happy situation, the family moved to a town outside the big city — a beautiful place, but one that brought a measure of sadness to all three children. They would miss their friends, their teachers, and the park nearby where they could play tag and hide-and-seek. Until one day, someone noticed a sparkle coming from a solitary tree in their backyard…
Piper Willowbee. (girl, age 9) Loves to write letters, fond of reading books, enjoys the arts, harbors a competitive streak. Takes her responsibilities as the eldest child seriously, but loves opportunities to be playful and free.
Clancy Willowbee. (boy, age 6) Most likely to be found outside, playing games and making new friends. Adventurous and curious, dreamy and sometimes insecure, Clancy has questions about how to find his place in the world.
Little Ty Willowbee. (boy, age 3) The baby of the family with a curious knack for finding lost objects. Loves stuffed animals, favorite snacks, and a little bit of extra attention. Can feel left out sometimes, but also enjoys a little time on his own.
The Willowbee Tree. (Salix alba, age unknown) A tree imbued with mystical qualities, a sense of adventure, a fondness for children, and a deeply rooted connection to the farthest reaches of the earth. The glow in its belly will take you wherever you need to go!
